Home dashboard layout fix shipped, and Squarespace publishing now supports direct rich-text HTML paste.

Today focused on shipping practical quality-of-life improvements for release workflow and UI stability.

The Home dashboard "smooshed" layout issue was fixed by tightening responsive behavior in the Home panel. The dashboard now respects full-width container constraints and shifts to a single-column layout earlier on narrower windows, preventing compressed card stacks.

On the publishing side, the daily log generator now outputs both a markdown Squarespace draft and a standalone HTML blog draft. Existing markdown drafts also get a copy/paste rich-text HTML section appended automatically when missing, so publishing can happen without manual reformatting.

We then generated today’s artifacts with the updated script, confirming the new output path and making the publish package immediately usable.

What We Started

  • Diagnosed and fixed the Home dashboard compressed layout behavior.
  • Added rich-text HTML output support to the daily blog generator.
  • Added a standalone HTML blog artifact (YYYY-MM-DD-ss-blog.html) to the session close flow.
  • Generated today’s daily log and blog artifacts with the updated workflow.

Closing

This session shipped a real UI stability fix and removed friction from the publishing pipeline. The daily blog package is now copy/paste ready for Squarespace in both markdown and HTML forms.
